Charter Homes & Neighborhoods has built more than 3,000 homes over the 20 years since it began in Lancaster County, PA. The company specializes in classically designed homes and neighborhoods, inspired by mid-Pennsylvania history, that are also ENERGY STAR® certified. Its customized floor plans apply architectural design principles while stressing quality and structural integrity. Charter has earned the prestigious National Housing Quality Award, the Commonwealth Gold Award from 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, and the 2009 Governor’s Award.
