Alliance Radio Launched June 6th
When we asked our Alliance builders what’s important to them to guide our own Best Practices Research, they ranked understanding 2012 IECC and marketing the value of home performance improvements to consumers as two of their most critical business issues.
So, we invited two key guys from BCAP, the Building Codes Assistance Project, to share some highlights from one of their recent studies. They researched the incremental construction costs of upgrading to 2012 IECC in several markets and looked at the impact to the homebuyer's bottom line.
Mike D
eWein (left), BCAP's Technical Director, and John Miller (right/below), the Senior Research Associate behind the study, shared their perspectives, answering a series of questions posed by Betsy Scott of IBACOS, our Alliance Manager.
